Community companies, products, and experts
The shared Community list page displays one kind of record within a selected community. The Sidebar uses the same page for Companies, Products, and Experts, with the list type supplied by the selected link.
What the page shows
The community header identifies the active community and lets a signed-in user join or leave it. The main result area then shows the selected list type:
- Companies connected with the community;
- Products visible in the community;
- Experts who participate in the community.
The list loads in pages and follows Actualog visibility rules. Private records are not exposed merely because they are related to a community.
Facet filters
The facet panel on the left belongs to the active community. Select one or more facets to narrow the result list to the parts of the domain that matter to you.
Facet selections are community-specific. When you switch to a different community, use that community's facet tree rather than assuming the same facet identifiers apply.
How to use a community list
- Expand a joined community under Explore Communities in the Sidebar.
- Select Companies, Products, or Experts.
- Confirm the community name in the header.
- Use the facet tree to narrow the results.
- Open a result to view the company, product, or user profile.
To see another entity type, select its link under the same community. To browse a community you have not joined, open Choose community and use View.
If the result is empty
- Clear selected facets; the current combination may be too narrow.
- Confirm that you opened the intended community and list type.
- Remember that only records visible to the current user are returned.
- A valid community can have no records of one type yet.
